Burnout: Personal and Sociological

Burnout is a combination of physical and emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and perceived lack of professional achievement or effectiveness. It’s a process and experience that can be surprisingly hard to identify in yourself. In this course we’ll take a bigger picture view of burnout, including how your workplace, home, and community environment contribute to burnout. We explore how the very nature of our society and culture affect burnout.
