What is Sociology?
Sociology is the study of society. The sociological imagination enables us to "see" the social system that we are a part of.
Sociology vs. Psychology
We are in a time when it is becoming absolutely vital to view and address social and health problems from a holistic and multi-factorial level. Sociology is the study of humans in societies, and psychology is the study of the human mind. Together, they help to explain the factors that influence human thought, emotion, behavior, norms, laws, and the greatest challenges that plague our collective wellbeing.
